SYNOPSIS

The regular meeting of the Superior Township Board was called to order by the Supervisor at 7:30 p.m. on September 15, 2008, at the Superior Township Hall, 3040 N. Prospect, Ypsilanti, MI 48198. Members present were McFarlane, Williams, McKinney, Green, Lewis, and Phillips. Caviston was absent. Minutes of September 2, 2008, meeting were approved. The Public Hearing on the 2008 Millage Rate for the General Fund was held. The Board received the monthly reports from the Fire Department, Building Department, Sheriff Department, and the Ordinance Officer. The Board authorized the Supervisor to sign the revised Consent Judgment for United Memorial Gardens. The Board set the millage rate for 2008: General Fund 0.8566; Fire Fund 3.00; and Law Fund (Police) 2.25. The Supervisor was authorized to sign the Development Agreement for the Humane Society of Huron Valley. The Board approved the lease for a new copier for the Fire Department. Ordinance 175 Amendment to Ordinance 106 Property Maintenance Code Ordinance - was adopted for first reading. The Board approved the repairs to the asphalt around the manhole at the intersection of Stamford and Dawn by Boswick Company for $1,200.00 from Utility Funds. The Board amended the 2008 General and Fire Fund Budgets. The bills were paid as presented with the following amounts: Utility Fund - $4,824.19 for a total of $4,824.19. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
