Board of Trustees
Approaching these challenges
with the experience and know-how learned over the last 20 years of owning a
medium-sized business in Michigan is what I offer at Board meetings and in
communications with other residents. I'm proud to have been elected and to
be of service. Our Township is Superior.
As a 16-year Superior Township resident who is serving my second 4-year
term as a Trustee on the Superior Township Board of Trustees, I can say it
has been a great pleasure to be here. The challenges facing us as a Michigan
Township in terms of growth and density are considerable.
Lisa was born in Ann Arbor and grew up in Ypsilanti
. She is a graduate of Ypsilanti High School, has an
Associate's Degree in Humanities from Washtenaw Community College,
a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Eastern Michigan University, and a
Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Since 1994
she has been employed by Willow Run Schools as a District Social
Worker. She is a member of Brown Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church
and a member of the Elks Improved Benevolent Protective Elks of the
World.
Lisa says that she enjoys working with children and their families to
assist them with issues they face in order to empower themselves. She
collects magnets and enjoys traveling. She has been a resident of
Superior Township since 1994 and a member of the Board of Trustees since
2000.
I am honored to serve as a
Trustee for the residents of Superior Township. My family and I have resided
in the township for 15 years. I previously served as a Trustee from 1988 to
1992. I have also served on the Zoning Board of Appeals. We have resided in
the Oakbrook subdivision, and presently enjoy our home on a large lot on
Cherry Hill Rd.
I am a graduate of Western Michigan University, and have been employed by
the State of Michigan for 24 years. I am presently a supervisor in the
probation department in Wayne County. I feel that my experience with a large
state agency has helped prepare me for the public service I hope to perform
for the residents of Superior Township.
First-term Trustee Rodrick K. Green is a practicing attorney with law
offices in Ann Arbor and Detroit. He comes to the Township
Board well-qualified to deal with the issues which come before the Board. He
has earned a degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University,
a Masters in Divinity from Virginia Union University and his Juris Doctor in
Law from the University of Michigan. In addition he has served on the
Superior Charter Township Board of Review and Board of Appeals. Rod has
served his country in the U.S. Army and the Michigan National Guard.
Currently Rod is a member of the Executive Committee of SEMCOG (Southeast
Michigan Council of Governments). Rod and his wife Regina live in Geddes
Ridge Subdivision with their twin daughters Ashley and Laila.
