This year, 2010, is a census year. The U.S. Constitution requires a national
census once every 10 years to count the population of each community and
determine the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of
Representatives. Census data also impacts funding for roads, schools,
hospitals and other projects in our district and state. Around March 15-17,
2010, every household in Superior Township (and the state) will be receiving
a questionnaire from the Census Bureau. It is 10 questions and takes about
10 minutes to complete. By law, the Census Bureau cannot share an
individual's responses with anyone, including law enforcement, federal
agencies, or landlords.
Please complete your questionnaire and mail it back!!
If the Census Bureau does not receive a return questionnaire from a household, Census workers will visit the household during the months of May- July 2010. For further information please click on 2010Census or Census Fact Sheet.
